Serverless Architecture
By transitioning to a fully serverless architecture, V2 not only boosts loading times but also offers a remarkable 99.99% uptime. This change enhances security for cross-origin requests and ensures more stable results.
Removed Payload Limitations
V2 eliminates the previous 10 MB image upload limitation, allowing for larger data transfers without a decline in performance. This enhancement is crucial for handling high-resolution images seamlessly.
Enhanced Error Handling
V2 improves the response time to errors, making troubleshooting and resolution processes quicker and more efficient.
Expanded Input Formats
The new API supports base64 encoded image formats, providing greater flexibility compared to the earlier version that only accepted image objects.
Refined Endpoints
For improved accuracy and utility, the endpoints have been clarified and separated. Notably, the /inpainting module has been split into two distinct posts: fill_spaces and precision.
New Functionalities
V2 introduces exciting new endpoints such as sketch_to_render and sky_colors, tailored to leverage our advanced AI models for creating realistic and precise designs. Each new endpoint is clearly marked with a “New” badge for easy identification.
Endpoint Consolidation
The enhance endpoint has been merged with full_HD to create a combined endpoint that handles both upscaling and refining images, streamlining the process.
New Base URL
All API calls for V2 should be directed to the new base URL: https://homedesigns.ai/api/v2.
Version Transition
Users can easily toggle between V1 and V2 documentation pages. V1 will remain operational until the end of June, after which V2 will become the standard offering.
